about
the running tortoise
the mission
Explore wildlife.
Engage in education.
Encourage conservation action.
The wild does not need tourists. It needs allies.
At The Running Tortoise, we believe travel should be personal, fun, and deeply meaningful. Over the years, our guests—many of them discovering safaris for the first time in their 50s and beyond—have told us one thing in common: “We felt looked after every step of the way.” That trust is what we treasure most.
When you travel with us, you are not just entering a forest. You are entering a relationship—with the land, its wildlife, and with us. From ensuring you get the best seat on a jeep for photography, to sharing stories of tiger sightings over a cup of chai, we pay attention to the little details that turn a trip into a chain of happy memories.
In addition to our tours, we offer a range of wildlife merchandise. Each purchase directly contributes to supporting community-based conservation projects.
Together, through small changes, we have the power to create a significant impact! Why not start today?
